Revealing patterns of prokaryotic diversity in soils - PhD position

We are looking for a PhD student to conduct experimental research on patterns of the soil prokaryotic diversity. A special emphasis is on analyzing soil aggregates.

As a major tool, soil nucleic acid (DNA, RNA) will be analyzed, utilizing (RT)qPCR systems and PCR amplicon sequencing. The work is conducted in the Molecular Microbial Ecology group of Prof. Christoph Tebbe at the Thünen Institute in Braunschweig, Germany.
