Poster Pitch Guidelines

How to pitch

Poster Pitch presenters have been invited to present 2 slides in 2 minutes during the session, thereby promoting their poster.

Presenters are giving their pitch in the session associated with their poster session (e.g. if your poster is in the session Marine microbial ecology, your poster pitch will be in the session Marine microbial ecology as well). On Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, these sessions will take place on the same day as the poster session. As there is no official poster session on Friday, a special section within the convention center will be set up with poster boards during the lunch break on Friday, for the poster pitchers of the Friday to display and present their poster. Their poster will also still be on display in their allocated session on either Monday, Tuesday or Thursday.

Session Chairpersons: Please refer to the Program available on the mobile or web application for the name of your session's Chairperson. Please meet your Chairperson in your session room 10 minutes the start of your session.

Slides Upload: If you are using a PowerPoint or other electronic presentation, it must be uploaded onto the conference computers preferable the day before your presentation or at least 2 hours prior. Speaker ready staff will be available in the speaker preparation room.
Please ensure the format you use for your slides is 16:9.
