All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include 15% VAT.

Full Registration includes:
• Attendance at all conference sessions and access to the poster, catering and exhibition area (Sunday 9 August - Friday 14 August)
• Morning and Afternoon Tea (Conference Days)
• Attendance at the Welcome Reception and Tiedje Award Night
• 1 ticket to the Social Gathering at Shimmy Beach Club on Tuesday evening 11 August

For full delegates, all social functions are included in the registration fee. Upon registration, delegates can purchase a party ticket for their guest for a fee of R 1 600.

An accompanying person, or guest, must be accompanied by a delegate registration. Guests are only allowed access to the poster, catering and exhibition area, but not to the scientific sessions. Tea and coffee breaks and attendance at the Welcome Reception and Tiedje Reception are included in registration.

* ISME Members: Please note you must be a registered active member of ISME upon registering for ISME18.

** Developing country delegates: Only delegates who are current residents of countries determined to be a Low Income Country according to Group A and B of the HINARI List (please see the country list here), or of India or South Africa.

*** Student Delegates: For students non-member and students from developing countries to qualify for the student rate, you must send documentary proof that you are in full time study at a recognized educational institution. Fill out this document and send it to Leanne Armoogam.
You will be considered a student if you are enrolled as a student for most of the year 2020 (i.e. at least until the end of June 2020).

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be notified in writing. Cancellations received before Friday 29 May 2020 will receive a full refund less a R 800 administration charge. Cancellations received from Saturday 30 May 2020 until Friday 31 July 2020 will receive a 50% refund. Refunds will not be issued for cancellations received after Friday 31 July 2020. Substitute delegates will be accepted without charge.
