Postdoctoral Research Associate - Salmonella typing, phenotyping and machine learning

The USDA, Agricultural Research Service, Genomics and Bioinformatics Research Unit in Gainesville, Florida, is seeking a POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH ASSOCIATE, for a FOUR YEAR APPOINTMENT.  A Ph.D. is required. Salary is commensurate with experience ($62,236  - $68,462 per annum) plus benefits. The incumbent will develop new Salmonella typing and phenotype prediction methods from genomes and metagenomes using population genomics and machine learning.
